The Future is Grown
Cresco is a biomanufacturing company that produces low carbon biocomposite materials for the built environment.
We are committed to creating sustainable and innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions and minimise waste.
Through our process, we utilise industrial waste materials, creating a low-carbon alternative for the construction industry. We strive to create products that are strong and durable, yet eco-friendly, helping to reduce the impact of the built environment on our planet. Our products are designed to be used in a variety of applications, and our team is dedicated to helping build a brighter future.

The Future of Construction
At Cresco we’re focused on delivering environmental innovations for the construction materials market.
We use biotechnology to manufacture low carbon panelling materials for the construction industry, with the goal of lowering the 50% of a building emissions associated with construction materials. The materials we are developing are sustainable and circular alternatives to interior panelling products such as plasterboard which in 2020 caused 3.5% of the UK's greenhouse gas emissions.
We bio-manufacture our low carbon materials by using bacterial formation calcite crystals to bind agricultural byproducts, waste aggregates and natural fibres at room temperature.
Climate Change and
Net Zero
Net zero targets for construction cannot be met without green material alternatives. Few interventions currently focus on the embodied energy of buildings rather than their operational energy.

Resource Efficiency and Supply Chain Resilience
By using industrial waste as aggregate, we secure value from waste streams and contribute to a circular economy.
Biotechnology based manufacture
We are developing and deploying a technologically advanced biomanufacturing process, with utility both now and in the future.
